    expired infractions

    hey,

could i please request to have the option, possibly in user cp to make expired infractions become invisible to myself (as i find them rather annoying and they are no use to me)

dont no if many others care or are bothered by it but i think theres not much point if they are expired to have them there.

    thanks

There isn't a point to not have them there. It might be annoying but thats a mild inconvenience.

It's annoying to me but I wish we could hide them too or collapse the box.

Making the box collapse could be done relatively easily.

similar to your scamming outside of sythe thread
i would like the past to stay just that

    forget them and move on

once expired they are just there to tell us we are or were naughty spammers/flammers or trolls. Really not needed.

You can always ignore them. Mods need to be able to see them.

if they were invisible to us mods would still be able to see them wouldn't they?

i understand that angle as they would need to see them expired or not but cant they just make them invisible to us as well similar to us viewing someone else's profile?

Well, its obviously doable. I just don't know if its worth taking the time to do for such a simple suggestion that doesn't have much point.

see even this makes more sense then keeping them forever

although simple that makes it all the more easy to implement .

I don't think every suggestion needs to be a huge change to sythe its the little things that make all the difference ;) .

Unless you find a mod premade or there is a Vb option for it built in its hard enough to implement that it won't be because its such a small idea.

I always feel I'm at a disadvantage when talking to you SUF because i have the strangest feeling you took/take debating lol

Even if we just have a something more simple like a toggle switch this would make all the difference.

Right I understand what you want. You could add nothing Vb option that would allow you to hide the infractions. This could be done within what ever database saves the user option information. It would require adding in that new space and adding the option and changing around the profile page. Matthew is the only one that could do this and he is quite busy and most likely wouldn't want to put the work in for such a simple thing unless there is already a way to do this without any new programming.

And I really have no experience debating. And its SuF! Geeeez! And it pretty easy to counter me after you figure out how I roll.

I am aware it is not necessary, but most suggestions are not a necessity to the site i can name a few examples of this if you would like?

I think they should stay, they remind us of our mistakes and what we need to improve on; me for example I need to improve on coping with other people's stupidity and how to control myself from flaming them for it. One day at a time, but I do like the idea of an collapsing box.
