Just Bought KMiner

And it's seems very good. I am currently level 65 mining and getting about 30k xp/hr doing Iron M1D1 with a rune pickaxe at East Arg.

1. Should I use a dragon pickaxe, if so, what are the benefits (percentage wise)?
2. Should I be using it to mine something different until 80 that has better than 30k xp/hr?

 

Dragon pickaxe is 10% faster from what I heard.
And Iron ore is the best for fast training with bot.

 

Well d pic is better ofc and i would recommend to mine granite untill mining lvl 77 and then go living rock and mine coal.

 

Is your Kminer working? Mine was working fine until the system update and now it just sits there. :/ Doesn't run or open up the option for me to choose what to mine.

 

Get a dragon pickaxe when you hit 80, then go to LRC. It is pointless to get a dragon pickaxe just for iron, rune does the job just as fine.

1. Yes, use a dragon pickaxe. With it your xp/hr rates will improve by roughly 10-15%.

2. 80 comes relatively fast, so M1D1 iron is a good choice. Granite is faster however if you want to switch.

1. Yes, you should use a dragon pickaxe, if you can afford it. It gets you around 10k/h more, which is a lot, imho.

2. No. Iron M1D1 has the 2nd best mining exp rate until level 80 (granite is a little better, but the ban rate is huge), so as long as you want exp, stick to Iron until level 77 or 80 (77 Concentrated Coal, 80 Concentrated Gold).

EDIT:

Tree Gnome Village Mining Spot, has virtually no one there, and it doesn't have a bad xp rate (around 3k/h less then Ardougne), so I would mine there.

 

i'd use rune its good enuff. And yea k miner is beast i got it too.

 

I prefer Rimmington. Find an empty world and you will have the best XP rates.

 

What xp/hr are you getting there?

 

Kminer is up at rock caverns.

I prefer dropping iron at rimmington untill 77. Then if you can get a dragon pickaxe and do 77-80 on coal then 80-99 on gold (inside rock caverns).

edit: to above post: 30-40k rune pick

 

On an empty world with a decent mining level you reach about 35k per hour if you have a good connection etc.

 

1. The dragon pick axe will increase your exp/hr by about 10%.
2. At 77 mining to to LRC and mine the coal there. It is about 5-10k more exp an hour. I would suggest getting a dragon pick for LRC though.

 

The dragon pick doesn't really work at gold for this reason.

You get the gold so fast that you waste all your time walking and not running back from the bank. You cant run because you keep using your energy to bank.

So it pretty much cancels itself out and has no impact on gold. (Im running kminer right now using dragon pick, and used a rune pick earlier.)

i do rimmington m1d1 and babysit it sometimes incase someone is going to there house in rimm. after that do LRC con gold with a dragon pickaxe

 

kMiner is definitely a great product. I don't play RS anymore, but I know the lead developer and he is an excellent programmer.

 

Iron till 80. Gold at LRC till 99. Dragon pickaxe is only better when fighting for the ore I feel.
