Last Day Of Summer

Well, the day came. I thought it never would. The last day of summer. All the fun memories of this summer are coming into my head. I'm going to be a freshmen and I'm really nervous about getting lost and being late to classes on the first day. I really miss all the fun I had this summer and it seems like it'll never happen again. I hate school. I did bad in 8th grade and now I'm scared to do bad in high school. Can somebody give me any tips?

 

High School really isn't as hard as you would think. I'm also pretty sure that in your freshman year you don't really take any major test, but I could be wrong. Did you play any sports for your high-school like junior varsity soccer/baseball? It's usually good to know a few people in higher grades to help show you around school etc. Anyways I hope you the best of luck!

 

I feel your pain, when I was going to be a Freshman, I had so much anxiety. I just wanted to fit in and not be like one of those nerd freshies. Be yourself in High School. Don't give a shit what other people say to you. 99% of the time, you'll be facing kids who think they're hard as hell but are really just a bunch of pussies. Take any opportunity to try a sport your good at, most High Schools have 3 teams for each sport, Varsity, JV, and Freshman team. Your chances will always be high to make a team. Colleges love people who play sports along with getting good grades. Another tip is to stick with one girl. Don't be a man-whore, just stick with one girl you like. Do your homework. Even though you don't want to, try in High School because it really does count. Colleges have very high expectations.

Damn. My summer ended like 3 or 4 weeks ago. I'm a freshman now too. I thought HS was going to be Hell. I LOVE IT! There is so many fine girls, and the teachers are so much more laid back, and chill about stuff. Most of the teachers I have, aren't that mad about us being late, my school is big, it has over 3,000 kids in it, and like 400 something teachers. Just relax, and just hang out with your friends, and find out who has classes with you, so you can just meet up with them and find your class easier. Good luck!

People act like HS is so hard.. I had more work in 8th grade then I did in my Freshman year. Just don't piss off your teachers.. As for being late, most teachers don't care if you're a little late, but after a few minutes they start to get pretty pissed.
Getting lost, not really a big deal. There's plenty of signs to help you get where you need to go. After like the second week, I didn't even know my class room numbers.. You kind of just remember where your classes are.

University Freshman year is what you should worry about if u ever go... Dammmm i already have 6 papers due by the end of next week fuck.

 

Freshman year is probably the easiest year of school.

 

Senior year is the easiest.

We started school August 16th, and now we have a 2 week break.

 

9th grade is the chillest grade of all. Freshmen Uni is supposedly really hard. I'm pretty freaked out about it...
I start on the 13th.

 

Well I'm 24 and my little associate is 18 and a senior in h/s it was semi funny today because she came and woke me up and jumped on me and goes "so I start school tomorrow, maybe I'll come over after and you can tutor me" I'm like wow.......God I love college.

 

Just relax, high school is going to be somewhat different that middle school but you'll get into the groove soon enough.

Just hang with your friends during school and before you know it, you'll make it though the year. Summer will come soon

 

Another trip for being a freshmen, don't piss everyone off.

 

Eh, unless you're big enough to back it up... But yes, loud mouths are the most annoying. That's why upper class/even sophomores hated my Freshman class. Nearly all of my year are loud mouths that think they're the best.

Ex: Kid in one of my PE class thinks he is cool.. (Friend of mine is a senior and has same period PE) Kid says to senior via xbox "I'll slam your fucking head into a concrete slab(didn't know he was talking to a kid that had same class as him.)" Next day..

Little ridiculous, but it's what he gets for being a loud mouth/smart ass/overall fag.

 

Tomorrow is freshman orientation at my school.. I start on wednesday. Muahahaha

 

damn dude. What will you be thinkin when you go to college? Anyway dont worry high school is fun and not hard. You just got to stay on top of things and go to extra help!

 

High School, at least for me was the shit compared to middle school. I also had a lot of friends in higher grades so freshmen year wasn't really too nerve-wracking for me.

I'll be a Senior this year, so just think - theres probably around 400 other people that are just as confused as you are right now, and in about a week you'll get the hang of it. And like someone else said, there'll be a lot of people that THINK they are hard as shit and try to fuck with you. My honest best advice is to ignore it, it pisses them off the most.

 

It doesn't matter how you do in highschool until Junior Year. That doesn't mean you shouldn't give a shit the first two years, though.

 

Not if you're in the top 1% of your class and need to take AP classes to keep your rank up. Fuuuccckkkkkkkk.

Freshman year is easiest by far.
