Why are we racist?

Prejudices that are made via nurture. The prejudices that are learned from parents or from society tends to stick. Plus it is common influences like hate and prejudices that influence people to be racists towards a certain race.

 

dude what you talking about? You shouldnt be embarassed to be white when today most people are racist against us.

 

Most people that complain about black people robbing them or any other race doing such things usually live in a crime infested area. Try going to nicer places,there's people of all races that are good people, that live in nice houses, abide by the law, etc. The lower you set your standards, the lower type of people you're going to encounter.

Your the type of person to believe white people are getting treated poorly by other races you need to look around you and see what is really happening.

 

Wow I didn't see that there was a third page so I missed both these points . This is very true,I am hispanic and I had the "live for the moment" mentality. I used to do things such as steal, rob innocent people, and stupid stuff like that... This was two years ago, now, I am going back to high school for an extra year and getting my act straight, I am planning to go either into Psychology, become a fire fighter, or become a cook.

 

1. I don't know where the hell you live but I guess you talk to idiotic people. I am Hispanic and have never had that mentality. Also, there are many white people with the same mentality.

 

Most of these people are influenced by the media, especially white people with this mentality.

1. If you really believe that all black and hispanic kids don't give a shit about education and that they are all "fools"; then you are some sad human beings.

Religion is a large contributer to racism

 

@Gohan i live in New York so yes i speak to foolish people everyday and they all act as if stealing/beating people up is suppose to happen. I Never said white people didn't have that mentality i was addressing the post.

@iown I never said black or Hispanic people didn't care i am black and i do care. The vast majority of the people in my AREA are this way i didn't generalize by saying all blacks or Hispanics are this way.

Never did I say anywhere in my post every member of a race act this way. It's just a majority. The statistics show it, check out some of CP's, and I could add more if needed.

 

This makes sense, i had to go to an alternative school of about 300 people where i was one of the only 2 whites in the whole building. I grew to dislike blacks and mexicans to a certain extent just because of the display they would put on day after day and the general rude comments made towards me and the white teacher. They say all stereotypes have a basis of fact and i couldn't agree more

 

Black people are more racist then whites, its just there are more white people being racist towords black people.

Its not racist to call some one black.

We are all human and if some one doesn't like some one because of there skin colour they should keep it to them selfs and not express it to any one.

Here in australia they have banned all schools from saying "Bah, Bah black sheep" Its now Bah, Bah Rainbow Sheep... Pathetic if you ask me.

 

What proof do you hold that states black people are more racist to whites and whites are just more white people being racist. You can't come here making a claim without some evidence.

 

Then your a fool to believe 300 people or so count as ''general' and base your opinion off such a low number. sterotypes have a basis of fact to an extent. Lets say there are 6000 black kids in an area and you live by 20 of them then those black kids act like jackasses don't mean the other 5980 will.

 

Its my thoughts, every one has there opinion, Just because I say somthing doesn'y mean its true thats just what I see in every day life. I seen it at school and I am seeing it at work now.

 

Im gonna be honest, I'm not racist, or even dislike black people, or any people for that matter. But there really is a certain line they cross when they become a nigger, or any other racist term. Ie; Black man owns his own business, hes a respectable black man. Nigger rapes a white girl and kills her, and takes her money, all for a gang. Hes a nigger.
