Masterphoo tried scamming me 8 dollars and is saying that I tried to scam him.

This is how the situation went down.

I added him on MSN cause I was interested in buying his steam account. He said "either you go first or we use MM", or something along those lines. Point is, he wanted me to go first or we use an MM. Well, of course I wouldn't go first because he ONLY has 10 posts on Sythe, No vouches, and he's a LEECHER still. So I said let's use an MM. I got arr0wblast as our MM because I've used him before and he's a good MM, and everything went as planned with that trade.

Anyways, this is how it's SUPPOSE to go. I pay arr0w->He gives info->I say the account is the way he said it would be->arr0w gives him my money->done.

We got to the part where he gave me the info, then as soon as I logged in, like, literally. as SOON as I got in the account. I got the popup that says someone else is logging onto the account. And when I tried logging in again, the password was changed.

If you see the time the SS was made, there's no way I could have changed anything. I couldn't even verify it was a unique steam id, like he posted on his thread.

Then, afterwards, when we were having a convo. I also caught him lying.
He stated that he had a unverification tool to unverify steams. Then when he said he can prove it, he showed a screenshot an EMAIL unverifying. Then he showed me a youtube video of someone unverifying. None of this adds up.

He obviously still has possession of the account and is just playing it off so he can take money and leave.

And to be complete honest, I wouldn't even had made this thread to get him banned because he only has 10 posts, and he's still a leecher. No point in wasting 20 minutes to get an account like that banned. Reason I'm still making this post is cause xeL told me to and arr0wblast still has my money.

 

User has talked to me on MSN about this. After reviewing both reports, I personally side with jakerrz only because he had already sent aforementioned middleman the money who wasn't smart enough to take both the money and the account (I have no idea why). This would have made it more than easy for Masterphoo to have been logged onto the account and hit "reconnect" when jakerrz logged in and change the password (the currently logged in user has a shortcut to the change password menu).

However, I will let one of the globals make the final ruling.

 

UPDATE. Just a few moments ago, the ORIGINAL owner of that steam account messaged me on steam. I added the login that masterphoo gave me just so I can see whether or not it went online, to view the games, etc etc. I added it on MY OWN personal steam account. And this is proof that, THAT account is PHISHED. Which is already against the rules on Sythe.

I asked him if I can keep him on my buddy list for steam, in case any further proof is required.
