    Hi I am 16 yrs old about 5'10-5'11 and about 213 pounds I barely get any exercise daily and am looking for a diet/exercise plan that someone could help me out with I've tried tons of things and nothing seemed to help but if anyone near my weight and height have any exp with anything let me know please we can chat here or msn . Also trying to get in good shape for the ladies lol like Im a decent looking kid but don't really know how to talk to girls my age especially when my friends have already met them and I just show up one night, you can say i'm a bit shy...any help would be great tyvm

    Get more into sports. Or do some simple. Im 5 7 and weigh 8 stone. The only exercise I do is walking to, from, and around school (school is 35 mins away) and ai go out a lot with friends and just walk around talking.

    Find something that is simple that you enjoy. Cycling or something perhaps?

    Edit: you just edited your OP so in response to that; Do as many sit ups as you possibly can, wait 5-10 mins, then do as many as you canagain. repeat that around 5 times then tomorrow you should hurt. the day after that, do it again but do it 6 or 7 times and keep going up. You should get a pretty good 6 pack in no time. Try that with pushups too, or a combination of both

    You need to focus on Cardio if you want to lose weight. Cardio burns an amazing amount of calories.. As well, check your diet. Stay away from fast food/eat what your body needs.
    mypyramid.gov is a site set up by the U.S. Health Administration.. (Assuming you live in the U.S.) You should be able to find about what you should eat on there.

    for my first 2 years of highschool i have gotten athlete of the year and i play basketball and football, i have the body type of a football player so i was experimenting on keeping muscle and losing fat. THE EASIEST WAY AND FASTEST WAY OF LOSING FAT IS TO WEIGHT TRAIN, i have lost fat just by working out because when you work out (weights not cardio), your body uses up tons of calories repairing that muscle and making it stronger, i have worked my teammates on the offensive line lose fat and become more confident, i can help you out bro just add my msn [email protected] and i can help you out and change your life

    if you have the money just buy a gym membership and add my msn and i can give a work out routine that will you down and you dont need to beat yourself up with cardio, cardio is always done when you put on muscle and lose the fat, cardio isnt effective until a fair bit of muscle is achieved because the more muscle the more oxygen is needed to reach the muscles.

    You can try out Wushu. Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, et cetera knows or has done it in the past. Jet Li was on the Bejing Wushu Team, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao went to Peking Opera School in Hong Kong, I believe.

    yes I have this but don't have weights at home so can't see myself doing it, and can't follow it at a gym because you have to watch it..

    If you can afford it, get yourself a personal trainer. A majority of people don't get in shape because they don't have the motivation, or desire to put forth the effort required. If anything, get a buddy who you can work out with on a regular basis.

    First things first, cut out ANY AND ALL SODA INTAKE. Soda is the biggest cause of obesity, and just cutting out that and drinking nothing but water will help you tremendously. It will also make working out much easier. Do this for about a week, get all of it out of your system with water, then start working out.

    If you're looking for something strict, but still pretty easy...

    Week 1
    Sunday - Walk 2 miles
    Monday - Run .5 miles, stop, do 3 sets of 10 pushups and 3 sets of 10 situps, run back.
    Tuesday - do pyramids (5 pushups, 5 situps, 10 pushups, 10 situps, 5 pushups, 5 situps). Do 3 reps of these. Run 1 mile.
    Wednesday - Upper body (lift weights, pullups, situps, planks, etc). Work out for about 20-30 minutes.
    Thursday - Lower body (scissors mainly, squats, etc)
    Friday - Run 1 mile, swim 250 meters (if you have access to a pool), and then rest.
    Saturday - Walk 1 mile, rest.


    That was my first week's workout when I was starting my training for Search and Rescue with my personal trainer. It's based on an alternative SEAL training routine.

    You want someone to write you some diet stuff and exercises?
    I'm actually into bodybuilding.
    If anyone on here has a good idea on how to lose weight and get fit on here, it's me.


    My story:
    Was 220 pounds, 15 yrs old, 5ft5.
    I was made fun of my whole childhood, basically from ages 8-15. One day, I had enough. It all started with me doing squats without weights in my room and push ups. I then signed up for a year at a gym, and I haven't stopped since. I'm 18 now and I get compliments as to how muscular I am. People from even last year usually don't recognize me.

    It took me basically 2-3 months to lose 70 pounds. Went from 220sh + to 150sh. I now weigh 200 pounds and I bodybuild.


    Send me any questions you may need. If you need some pics of me for proof... I can do that too.

    Most teenagers have NO clue on how to work out. Don't be fooled by some football player telling you how to work out.
    This is MY sport. I'm competing in january for a weightlifting competition.

    I know plenty of people who move more than most people, but carry extra baggage.

    My uncle is 40 pounds overweight, but runs 15-30k marathons in a regular basis.

    For some people, it's just not that easy.
