ancient prayers

i was wondering if the ancient prayers are any good for pvp. i have noticed you can boost yourself better with the regular prayers, however you cannot reduce your opponent. is this worth it or no?

Yeah if you can use turmoil or soul split. Both are VERY good and VERY helpful, if you can get them I would advise doing so.

 

they're really no good for pking unless you have 92+ prayer.

it kinda sucks :\ the saps just make people mad and don't benefit you at all, the leeches make people really mad and barely benefit you. (you're better off using ultimate strength)

Soulsplit and Turmoil are when the curses get good for pvp.

 

I find that turmoil is AMAZING on my pure, it's definitely worth it. However if you don't have access to turmoil yet, its not worth giving piety up.

 

i dont believe pking is anygood without having that smiley face(vengence)
turmoil is amazing but every time i go pking with it and am about to ags spec, they use that bliming smiley face above their head and i always get knocked out,
But for PvM (playerVsMonsters) ITs amazing , wouldnt say its that good at Gwd but its definatly better then normal prayer
but for corpal beast its highly recomended to have ancient prayers and besides the quest is easy aswell.

 

Its extremely dominating in non +1 worlds where most people are restricted to drag weaponry because they don't want to risk 75m. Raises the max hit of dscim by around 4.

 

Turmoil + Veng + Claw spec = k0

 

They are definitely not worth it unless your prayer is at 95. Turmoil is the only true worthwhile prayer on ancient prayers.

 

Soul split isn't worth it? You're definitely wrong there. Soul split with a divine is the most godly thing imaginable.

 

If you are above 110+, I'd highly suggest getting them. It's not even worth thinking about it. 92 for range tanks, Melee in use? 95. Most fights won't agree upon SS as one person will get hitting and the other will run because 1. They have no prayer. 2. The other person is constant full hp.

ive seen turmoil pures dds specs fail ALOT but when they do hit they are usually 30+. so just ask your self if your willing to spend 180mil for it...
