Battlescape Scamming.

If any of you don't know, battlescape is a private server for runescape.

I got scammed today on battlescape. I traded someone on Sythe who was legit, etc etc. I went first to buy his battlescape gold. He proceeded to give me the gold, and around 10 minutes after i got the gold, i recieved a permanent ban on battlescape for real world trading - sythe. He was obviously an admin on battlescape, and is banning the real world traders.

I consider this a scam....what do you think? Should he be banned?

The same could happen here with gold selling. It really is just bad luck and nothing you can do it about it except report him and let staff ban him.

Doesn't seem like a scam, he sold you the gold just like you asked for. Your fault for getting caught for RWT.
That's like asking someone to bot on your account for a month straight and then when it gets banned you say they scammed you lol.

In the end you took a risk and got screwed for it. Happens.

Its not really a scam, but regardless it shouldn't be allowed since we are a cheating community and people shouldn't be working against that.

Guys beware of people like the OP. He didn't get scammed. He is a major 50+ account scammer on this website.

Battlescape is a RSPS (Runescape Private Server.) It's basically all the code from regular Runescape that can be altered, such as making the XP rate higher, adding monsters into different locations, etc.

Battlescape is one of the bigger ones. Because it is bigger it's gold, like Runescape, is worth more. Meaning that some members are happy to go to the extent of purchasing it for real life money.
