    Wanting to leave

I really want to move to a different country. This place feels like hell. I don't know if I can take living here much longer. I constantly feel oppressed and pressured to do things that I don't want to. I think I'd want to move somewhere in the USA. Any advice? Please work out plane ticket costs from Birmingham International Airport (United Kingdom) to the location you suggest, and post it here. Also, explain why I should move there.

    Don't let me down.

    edit; Preferably not europe/asia

    Come to Australia, specifically Sydney.

Reasons for: ss23 lives here, x9 does, Atomic does too.
Reasons against: It's Australia, which is the third worst country in teh world after England and USA. Also, denial lives here.

Plane tickets are CHEAP AS BRO.

Does seem like a nice country. Every Aussie I've ever met has always told me how awesome it is there. However, the flights are so expensive.

Well if we're being serous, it's actually a horrible country in some aspects. Politics are crazy here, I'm sure you've heard about the government doing stupid things...

BUT, on the good side of things, given the mining that goes on here, it's 'relatively' unaffected by depressions etc.
You're pretty much guaranteed to find work here, but I don't find it that nice of a place to live.

    I would suggest NZ, but that's boring as shit, also poor ;_;

I know you said preferably not Asia, but you should go to Singapore.

Reasons for: Their pay is quite high. It's not cold at all so you won't have to bother with winter clothing or heating or any of that crap. The benefits are vey good. Loads of people move to Singapore.
Reasons against: Cost of living is quite high. They also practically rape you with taxes.

Last I checked, plane tickets from UK to Singapore costed £600 one way.

    Wanting to leave

I was born in England and moved to live in Australia for a few years.
It is a beautiful place, however to me it didn't seem like home.
Sure i loved the heat, but being in England for most of my life made me miss the cold evenings and walking home from school in the rain.

I can't say that i understand what you are going through. But if you do decide to leave, understand that you will have nothing there waiting for you.

Indeed. Australia isn't a home, it's a place you live for awhile to experience things etc. And money :D

I take it all back. Verts: You suck. Stay in England, where it also sucks, because then you would suit each other. :<

If I move to California I have someone willing to cook me nice steak, and I have relatives over there. I also have relatives in Christchurch, NZ.

    WHAT?
Singapore sucks. Its just a buisness land. If they catch you littering its like a 2000 dollar fine. The whipped an american kid (with a cane) for drawing on a bathroom with a marker or someshit. If they catch you with drugs you can get the death penalty.

You should move to Canada, in some of the provinces, you're allowed to drink alcohol at 18, and the rest are 19, I believe. There's a lot of freedom here in Canada, and not as harsh laws here, in my opinion.

Singapore doesn't suck, I don't think it's a "business land"... Also, littering is bad so that's why they give you a $2000 fine, the American Kid should know better than to draw inside a bathroom, it's not his property or anything, Drugs are also very bad and Singapore wants their streets very clean and et cetera. One day when I have kids, I'm making them live in Singapore, since it's good for kids that are growing up not to do stuff like litter, vandalize property and not do/have Drugs. Also, my father and his friends have been to Singapore, and they say it's a very clean City, not one piece of garbage on the street. I love Singapore and wouldn't mind living there, you can learn English and Mandarin there, and also possibly have a choice to learn Cantonese.

I remember going to California for 1 month vacation and it was amazing. I stayed in Hollywood and San Francisco and there was nothing like it.
Also weed is big there :p. Plane flights are expensive, but it would be hella fun.

    Indiana, USA.

However, I doubt you're the calm kind of person who likes relaxation and living out your life without having to deal with much of the outside world.

It gets cold here in the winter, and hot during the summer. The only natural disaster is tornadoes. Michael Jackson was born here. Etc...

I'm from the United States, and I can say that the only reason why I haven't left yet is because I'm in college to be a lawyer. However, the government here has some fucked up laws tbh. In california, marijuana has been legalized, but you cannot walk around town with it, you may only smoke it in your house. But get this, you have to walk around town with it, to get it home right? Fail.

But yeah, if you go anywhere, I'd go to Aussie, or Cali.
