I really dont understand why they crack down on botting

If they were doing it for the money, they would

1. Remove trade limit
2. Sell their own gold and power leveling
3. Make a way bigger profit and more members.

 

Because then it wouldn't be a matter of who playes more or is a better trainer.
It would be a contest to see who could leave their computer on the longest.

 

Okay. Lets take a "Runescapains" Point of view here(POV).

Grand Exchange=I'm trying to buy herbs to get 99 herblore. Fastest way to get herbs-Sorc. Garden.=Bot's easy.

Grand Exchange=I'm trying to buy PURE/RUNE ess. To get 99 RC. Fastest way to get the ess.=BOT.

So GE(grand exchange). IMO(In my opinion). depends on bots.

Who would sit on there computer for 14 hrs. to mine pure ess?. I know I WOULDN'T! So they need to stop using the ban hammer. They need to use the warning one instead.

8/10 botters are p2p right? lets say they pay the actual amount of money monthly rs costs, so $8 a month, 8 X 12 = 96 so $96 a year.

lets say 1,000 botters pay for members, thats 96grand a year.

those all get banned so they getting a new account getting another membership giving jagex almost another 96grand free why not? Most pplz also have more than 1 account they bot or they have Legit main + few botting account.
