    Serious issue....

This post includes 2 friends, I'll call them ''friend'' and ''friend 1''. It also includes me and my cousin.

I share a Runescape account with friend. I went to my cousins house (whom I trusted) for a week, and we played on the account. My cousin found out what the password was, but I didn't mind since I trusted him. My cousin also owns a zerker pure, but was having difficulty getting membership since he's only 12.
As we played on the account he also found out about another IRL friend I know on Runescape as I talked to him frequently through chat, that friend was friend 1. I told my cousin during one conversation that friend 1 owes me £29 ($45).

I then went to my fathers house, where I could not access a computer. While I was there, my cousin pretended to be me on the account I share with friend. He then went and asked friend 1 to make him a member on one of his pures, and that he and I would each pay £14 in exchange (meaning his debt was whiped). Friend 1 went ahead and made his pure a member.

I am now at home, and friend 1 won't accept me refunding for the membership fees (reducing his debt to £24 basically). He accepts that I never promised to pay him £14. But he STILL wants the £14 my cousin actually did promise him whiped off his debt. He claims ''a deal is a deal'', and he feels scammed by my cousin. My cousin also left 2mil worth of junk on me and my friends account, and he seems to have lost our full guthans set, I assume he tricked on the account for his own benefit.

This is a confusing situation, and I'm uncertain about what I should do and who is in the wrong. Please help!!:'(

I'd make your cousin pay the money because...

    1. He told friend1 to make his account members.... and knock his debt away.

    2. Dropped valuable items on your account.

That's the way I would look at it....

He can't afford it, he's 12 year old boy. Does anyone think friend 1 is in the wrong for not accepting me reducing the debt to £24 and sticking by the deal my cousin made with him. Would you do what friend 1 is doing?

Doesn't matter if he's a 12 year old boy. What he did was wrong, and he needs to pay him back. Set a dead-line for him, if he doesn't pay it; tell his parents. You might be doing a "dick move," but he basically just stole $45, and impersonated you for a week.

Tell him he needs to learn to his lesson. If you tell his parents they might give you the $45 but that would be a dick head move, hes 12 how the hell is he gonna get $45??

Friend 1 only lost £5, in my opinion it's a bit stingy that he's clinging onto the "deal" my cousin made with him rather than accept my refund. And I did challenge him about that on the phone... I'll probably contact cousin and make him pay the stuff he promised friend 1 just to teach the sucker that he shouldn't lie/scam and use my money+account. But damn, I don't know if he will. He's gonna have to cook the money up himself, no way his parents are paying. 22 dollars down the drain?

If your friend knows you weren't the one who offered the deal, and he still insists on paying you only 24 euros, then i would suggest you get the money and end this friendship. obviously, money is more important to him than honesty and friendship. And as far as your cousin goes, there isn't much you can do since he is still much young. He's naive and made a mistake. Consider him your little bro and forgive him. Note: By no means an I saying that what he did was not wrong. But how many of us cared about other people when we were 12? I surely didn't. When you're his age, the world revolves around you.

Your friend for not being reasonable, your cousin for impersonating you for personal gain, and most of all you for giving out your password.

    Case closed.

Sounds to me like, he's a scammer in the making. Set this kid straight, or he won't get anywhere in life, or on the internet.

make your cousin pay. hes only 12, say youll call the police for stealing ID and stealing the membership, and tell JaGeX that hes only 12 and should be banned. he should fall for it. You shouldnt have to pay for your cousins selfishness.

And I agree with what the post above me says...

Are you certain that it was your cousin, or are you jumping to conclusions? as @friend1@ might be making it up so he doesn't owe you as much.
