I understand we are getting the same exact product, you have to realize that I also live in California so my sales tax is a lot higher.
Unless of course you live in California as well. My sales tax accounts for 30/50 of those dollars.

 

Amazon does not charge a sales tax for California. The only states they charge a sales tax in are:
Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, or Washington.

wow, that is quite high, you could knock it down to around 60-80$ By getting the 40 dollar plan with 400 minutes, get the data package on there for 15-25 depending on which you want either 200mb or 2gb, then unlimited text, So it doesnt HAVE to be that much

600 minutes unlimited texts 1GB data £20/$30 but I got it knocked down to £10/$20

But your also forgetting handset price CONTRACTS generally are evil.

 

They're almost like iPhones.. Why not just get an iPhone?

 

As stated before, iTouch's are usually much cheaper. And if you already have a phone that you're happy with...why pay extra?

Yea... the iPod touch 4th Gen is quite nice. Also very similar to the iPhone 4.

Definitely an Alternative for people who don't want to have a $69 phone bill to have a iPhone 4,

 

Are they in stores yet? I haven't seen anyone with one.
