If you're becoming depressed by the fact you cannot smoke, you should be thanking your family in the future.

I smoke on the weekends myself most of the time, it gives me that chunk of time to enjoy myself. But it's never a "I really need to smoke" deal. I can make it without weed.

The moment it becomes a need, it's time to stop or cut back. Stop before it becomes your life, and trust me, it can and will happen. I lost a friend of mine in May, when he started, because he smokes three times a day now, and that's all he does. Nothing about him is the same.

 

I feel you, I'm on the same boat, but not really depressed. It sounds like you have a dependancy, I've gone through it as well, and still somewhat am. You should try to force yourself to cut back, instead of smoking every day, smoke every other day. Just find stuff to do to occupy yourself and keep your mind off of smoking. The deeper you fall into a dependancy, the harder it is to get out of it. It is easier to recover from than an addiction, but it can still mess someone up.

Also, try not to get under the impression that I'm preaching to you. From one pothead to another, I'm just trying to help.
