[MSN]All Contact that add me get blocked

Everyone who adds me on MSN, after I accept them, gets blocked.
Does this mean my MSN is full?
I can unblock them, but it won't let me message them until I do that.

 

This also happens to me too. Must me MSN's general problem?

 

I also get an email to confirm that I need to add this person too, its really annoying....

I think you just have to unblock them.
Just quite annoyin.

 

It's a glitch in the software, It used to happen to me but it just stopped, theres also a problem where if some sends you a friend request on msn, it looks like you are receiving one from you.

 

It just started happening to me as well.

 

Mine just fixed itself. No matter what client you're using, just redownload your buddy list by deleting the file.

It depends what MSN client you're using. For Pidgin it was blist.xml.

 

Just because you re-download it doesn't mean the error goes away.

It's an error with MSNs Messenger, to fix it you need to change your password. Even if you don't want to change it, change it to something then change it back and it will correct itself. It's an odd error but it fixes the client.

 

I've already tried this and it didn't work. I have the same issue as the OP.

 

So you're saying that I fixed my MSN but didn't actually fix it. Interesting.

 

While your contacts are blocked, change your password then manually unblock them, not by; right click > unblock contact; options > tools > privacy > allow

I don't find it surprising you're not intelligent enough to find solutions to your own problems.

 

Since I find it much more efficient to figure out why there's a discrepancy between our solutions rather than argue with you online, I discovered that with the Pidgin chat client, blocked users are stored in the blist.xml file. As a result, re downloading that file actually fixed my issue.

Whether or not we're even talking about the same issue, this was the solution I found. Thanks for your input.

 

Although Pidgin is good for those whom computers MSNM is not possible to complie, it's risk factors and issue management are severely worse.

Pidgin uses the same ptp and MSNM without the same xmpp which results in numerous features failing over time (just the start of other issues).

In simpler terms, once you've fixed one thing it causes another to fail overtime.

 

There is another thread like this. Most people just reinstalled and it worked. So i donno.
