Slayer

I currently have 50 slayer..
I was wondering.
How long would it take me to get to 85 or so?
(85 is when you can get rich right?)

Also, should I buy Sara God Sword?

 

Any type of Godsword is good when training slayer, but I actually prefer a Whip/Dragon Scimitar rather than a Godsword because Slayer always goes faster that way. To get to 85 from 50, I'd assume it would take 2-3 months if you played long enough.

 

Dang... 2-3 months is a lot...

Yeah whip/scim/rapier is best for Slayer. And it's pretty hard to say how long it would take you, it all depends how much you play.

If you want you could use an SGS for the spec though, but I'd say using DDS spec and such is better for Slayer.

 

get a quick weapon and a cannon to maximize exp gains from slayer.

 

Around 2months, I suggest whip + dfs more.

 

If you have the cash sgs is great for spec. I normally use whip/defender or void gear if I don't need much def.

Here are my stats:
75 Attack
75 hp
76 Str
72 Def

I might get up my combat stats before I start slayer (I know you get combat stats while training slayer). I just want fast combat exp.

Now whats the fastest combat exp I can get with 70 mill?

 

SGS is only good for the spec because it recovers hp and prayer.

Setup, I like to wear Bandos tassy and chest plate, whip + rune defender, dragon boots, slayer helmet, warrior ring, barrows gloves, fire cape.

If your praying a task wear a skill cape and Prossy. If you need more defence on a task replace your rune defender with a DFS.

Use a cannon to get to 85 the fastest, you still profit in the long run when using a cannon so really no harm in it.

If you can't afford Bandos wear Fighter torso, and rune or rock-shell legs.

and fast combat xp with 70M, seeing as you can't really buy combat xp... save your money and do Slayer, honestly you wanna be maxed by the end of 99 slayer not after.

 

Depending on how much you play, it should take around 1-3 months of consistent play. The Enchanted Excalibur is almost as good as the SGS and it saves you 50m+. It gives back 20 HP, and is a defense pot.
