    Help, What just happend!!!

Hey guys I was sitting on Facebook when I received a friend request on MSN I obviously I accepted because I knew it would be somebody wanting to buy my account anyways, He was going on how he wanted proof only via TeamViewer so in the end I let him after a bit of persuasion.

I showed him my cash levels etc then suddenly he takes over the screen adds a file to my desktop saying PaypalProof.JPG And my Anti Virus stopped it, before he could proceed further I immediatly shut down the computer.

I've just turned it back on and permanantly deleted the file and in full scans of the computer, so basically What the £"$% just happend!!!

oh and his msn was; [email protected]

the file he put was probably most likely a RAT (Remote administration tool)
    or a keylogger.

if you didnt open the file you will be fine.

some 15 yr old kid probably keylogged you and worked out the details from social networking sites and google. No idea how he got your bank details unless you typed it in during that month?

That's got to be the most basic and awful anti virus in existence.

Go with NOD32 or Kaspersky and you're good to go. And if you don't fancy paying their prices.. Well, you know what to do.

You probable accepted the Teamviewer invitation as either fileshare or remote support.

My suggestion is to use screenshots over Teamviewer no matter how tedious it is.

Ya AVG is a pretty good antivirus program. But that file was probably a keylogger its a good thing you didnt open it or else you would probably be screwed right now.

First of all you should not give your team viewer id and password to anyone because we dont know the person with whom we are dealing moreover he can misuse it. Nothing happens to your pc you scan your pc and run ccleaner and delete cookies and then you remove teamviewer from the control panel then your pc will be safeside.
