Can someone please explain Pk'ing to me in DETAIL

okay so for a few years i have played on my main on and off. its not the best account and it only has a 136m wealth and only one 99 skill. but lately rs has been getting pretty boring. i have heard people making heaps of money from pking but when i go in to pk i get owned cuz im a high lvl and can only attack high level people who are pro at pk'ing.

so i have started a new account at the moment its combat stats are 40 att, 52 str, 1 def, 1 range, 1 mage, 19 prayer.. what should i do to turn this into an epic pk'ing account?

and what are some loots that i can get to make money. like is it worth it? and whats the difference between members and non members loots. i would GREATLY appreciate it if someone couls please explain it to me i know its kind of nooby but please help

 

Alright, to start if off lets get the Strength to 55 or 60, because every 5 levels give an extra damage, so might as well top it off

Get the range up to 40 for better defence with d'hide chaps & Vamps and some mage for binds.

whats your combat btw ,I have a pure thats level 42 I believe we can pk together

 

You should learn when to switch and how to switch fast. It's all about predicting what prayer your opponent will pray. It's not really prediction if you know what yo do. Also learn how not to die and combo eat. Use prayer wisely, and don't risk more than necessary.

Sorry for lack of detail, but here are a few important things to note...

Members loots will 99% of the time be more profitable than F2P loots...
and as for STATS...

"Every 5 levels gives an extra damage" is FALSE. 99 Str can hit over a 30 with an R2H, with that theory the max hit would be a 25.

For a 1 def pure never raise prayer above 52 for any reason.

Range/Mage 'scale. You can get 99 range and 1 mage and be level 75. Then you could get 99 mage (WITHOUT GAINING HP LEVELS) and stay at combat level 75. Therefore there's no sense in having 94 mage for ice barrage and not having 94 range...it doesn't effect your level at all.

imho, no pure at all goes over 52 or even near 52 unless they are going for anchor. 44 is pretty much all you need, and isn't even required for f2p.

so, if your going to stay f2p [less profit, harder to die] don't bother with anymore prayer, maybe 31 if you want that ultimate str and monastery [recharging prayer + free monk robes]

and if your going to go p2p, don't even get 52 prayer then.. its pointless since they nerfed the stat and mainly high level pkers use them, i haven't seen smite on a pure of decency in many years.

just get a solid range and mage level, (pretty sure bind is the max binding spell an f2p can use but, keep it level with ranged for more proficiency & protection from magic damage)

70 - 75 ranged is a solid f2p level so keep magic around there too along with 70 str and 40 attack.

also, if you want more firepower in your hands, get 66 dungeoneering [gains enough points for gravite 2h] then get your attack to 45. this 2h gives you a lot more damage and also, makes you more accurate [45 att instead of 40]

you can choose to ignore this though, as it costs a fair bit to use.

Or make a tank,Get 94 mage,get vengeance,get a high ranged level,45 or 70 defence, and use dragon bolts (e) or morrigans

 

get 75str 50att 70 range and 31 pray for the meanwhile and fight with range 2 granite maul never use granite maul randomly because it mainly fails.

when your going to switch make sure u switch just b4 ur range attack hits and make sure there atleast half hp or lower.

 

Okay to pk efficiently your gonna wanna get some d claws or ags and pot up, than use ancients to freeze your opponent, have str/att boosting prayers on and turn on your overhead pray, run up, spec, if you dont kill run or tele out. if you kill them get the loot and bank and reapeat.
