Pronouncing "Obby"

I say it like. Ob-ee.

 

I say it like "oh bee" because I like how that sounds. to me "aw bee" just sounds kinda weird. "oh bee" sounds kinda darker natured then "aw bee" since it has a deeper tone. its like in soul wars, is it "oh bah lisk" or is it "aw bah lisk"?

 

i pronounce it like ahhhhbeee. but i never really need to say it outloud

 

There's no such thing as obby, it's obsidian.

 

This is how me and everybody I know say it. Jagex really needs like a dictionary for their words that shows pronunciation.

have people really never heard of Obsidian in real life?

it's a black glass-like rock that comes from volcanos.. Hunters throughout history have used it to make arrowheads because it shatters like glass when it hits bone.

Ancient Egyptians and Greeks also used it to make mirrors.

Ive always read it as Awbe
