No, you don't get keylogged. Whoever told you is a complete dumbfuck and doesn't have a clue WTF they are saying. They only say it's a keylogger because they've never heard of a program like TeamViewer and think it's too good to be true.

Only disadvantages you can have with it:

If people are pro with TeamViewer like me...they can do the following:

Disable your mouse and keyboard so they can take over and you can't do anything other than restart your computer fast before they reach your documents or you can click Ctrl + Alt + Del and it will stop them then you have to quickly disconnect them before they do it again.

Turn off your computer but, you will need to click Yes or No, however, they can quickly click Yes before you notice it or while you're reading it or they can disable your mouse and keyboard input and click yes.

Transfer files back and forth, however, you have to click Yes or No, and if you click Yes, then you're a dumbfuck because you can just tell them to upload it and you can download + scan it from there.

And more, but, I don't want to share too much or people will grab on and start fucking with people.

People can transfer a file through teamviewer onto your computer (the file can contain keyloggers and viruses, etc)

There used to be a guide on how to safely use teamviewer in the pin section. As a rule of thumb, I'd stick away from it unless you are dealing with trusted members.

If I'm not mistaken, when they send it as a gift... it usually comes up as in the email that you received a gift from blah blah blah on paypal...

When they send it you should be able to offer a refund if its a gift.

Most information posted above is accurate, however...

Do not think there is no danger to teamviewer unless you click yes to something, hackers are always one step ahead of security (you can't prevent something if you don't know the threat exists). Teamviewer is through the internet though, so if something goes awry just disconnect yourself. As for actually getting keylogged, all a keylogger is is something that records your keystrokes. It would be a good idea if you begin TV with him after you've entered your log in information for PP. Also, there is a "disable remote input" option for teamviewer, you should have that checked so he cannot use your mouse or keyboard at all.

When the person receives the payment, he can see if you sent it as a gift or not. Therefore, I don't see a valid reason for him to ask you to use team viewer.

It no longer actually states it's a gift payment, but all personal payments don't incur fees for the receiver and a [Refuind] button is displayed next to the payment.
