    Ipod Question

My issue is that my Ipod simply won't sync to any of my three computers.

It's a first generation ipod nano 2GB and I'm scared that it has come to the end of its short 4 year life. I was trying to sync it around a week back when I had to reommve it suddenly, and it hasn't worked since. The ipod either doesn't register (when I put into the outside USB hubs) or presents the Windows message 'This USB device is not recognised' when I connect it to the other USB hubs. Wat do?

    Ipod Question

My best advice would be take it to an apple store if you've got one near by. Even though it's out of warranty usually they'll still try and help you fix it.

    Ipod Question

Take it to a best buy, or apple store. See if there is any major problems with it. It could be just the face its old and it won't recognize the USB chord anymore. If it cost a lot to get it fixed, just get a new ipod its not worth fixing.

    Ipod Question

Do you get an error message when you connect it or does iTunes not recognize it at all?

    Ipod Question

It's either an iPod issue or a cable issue. Have you tried using another USB Cable? Also have you tried cleaning the connector on the iPod?

    Ipod Question

Itunes does not recognize it at all

There's one nearby but it's not open at the times I'm free

^^ I'm looking for one on ebay for under $30

It's definitely not the cable. I haven't tried cleaning it, I will now.

    Ipod Question

I would format your iPod. You should be able to view it either as a disk or a device if you're running Windows.
