Tsar Bomb

I thought this would be interesting to show my fellow Sythe members. This my friends, is the Tsar Bomb. I find it incredibly scary.
Opinions?

 

Pretty scary stuff, I wish things like this didn't exist so it could be one less thing to worry about. The destruction one of those things would cause would be crazy but the explosions in the videos look pretty cool.

 

^^ Agreed, you never know when something like this could go off, yet I never think about it either.

This is some crazy stuff though, It shouldnt have been created

 

science always scares me. it can do some amazing things. Many of them, not so good.

 

And if it wasn't for religion science would be more powerful.

 

Wow. I always wondered if the range was that big, surely the pilot would get killed in the blast?

 

Um the bomb had a Parachute so they could get away in time. But they almost died like you can hear in the video posted.

Yeah I saw the parachute, I was just wondering if yould you travel 35KM before it hits the floor (or like 200m above the floor since they detinate before they hit the floor). The like video was in like german as well.

 

The plane was flying at a altitude of around 10 KM and flies at around 900 KM\h. Lets say the Bomb falls at around 30 m\s (Probably slower)

7000 meters(Because they let it explode at 3000 meters) / 30 m\s = 233 sec before it explodes
900 Km\h = 250 m\s so 233x250 = 58250 meters, So yes.
Just a rough guess.

 

The bomb had a parachute attached, this greatly slowed the drop speed giving the plane enough time to get out.

 

Jesus Christ. This sent shivers down my spine... I'm going to prey that a nuclear war won't start.
