Removing his OMM rank isn't going to slow him down much if at all from MMing.

 

So your idea of a punishment is his OMM rank removed? Why? He earned that. You want to create another Syed-type case?

 

I don't think this guy understands that removing Nate's vouches and ranks aren't going to affect his ability to trade with legitness and integrity.

Your taking this argument the wrong way; I'm not trying to keep Nate knocked down into the ground. I'm simply suggesting that if he is REALLY sincere in this site, then the least he could do is start over to prove to sythe fellow users; such as I, that he is legit and willing to improve/help the site.

 

I'm not wanting the removal to effect him in the way that it hurts his business. I believe that he should further show users that doubt his trust that he really is non-corrupt, by earning back his status.

No, a temporary ban is much more suitable. He's worked for what he's got and he should not lose that because of a simple mistake. Instead give him a 3 month ban as a warning for if it ever happens again. Also he doesn't need to prove to an obvious vader that he is contributing to the site.

 

He's legit. He helps the site. His endless contributions as an OMM, UE, and officisl guide verifier isn't enough? You're turning your own words around. You've made no argument that shows why Nate should start over.

He cheated his way into trust, you can't put this any other way. We don't even know if he did this 'self-vouching' at a much earlier time, and this we'll never really know because he deleted a bunch of them recently.

Of course he probably wont do it again, because he already got caught. Once corrupt, always corrupt.

 

He has no common sense or ability to defend his point because his whole argument is based on the fact that he wants to see someone else brought down harder than a temp ban. My assumption is he was banned for self vouching now he's a little upset.

 

I've been TWC'd twice and demoted from being a mod. Your point about 'once corrupt, always corrupt' is invalid and shouldn't be mentioned. He deleted them, but it wasn't used as part of hs vouches. I believe he was selling a guide, but didn't have success, even when self-vouching. Although you're denying it, I feel that you just want Nate to be perm. banned.

Once a scammer, always a scammer - once corrupt, always corrupt. I will bring this up countless times as it is more than just an opinion. Nate is getting a slight tap on the hand, as just a no-no for sticking his hand in the cookie jar before dinner. But in this situation, I believe that since he's a higher rank/respected member; he should be punished more-so.

 

Either you're mixing your words around, or I'm not getting it; what do you want Nate's punishments to be? I've already given you the points and the facts for every argument you've made. I'm going to try and stop posting unless it's necessary.

I stated countless times that he should get a bigger punishment of some sort since he is of a higher rank then the average leecher. I'm not going to repeat myself, if you would like to understand more go back a page and review.

Ah. I was the one who originally posted him "Starting from scratch." The points that have been made here have given me a change of heart on my suggestion. There would be no point in removing his vouches. However I still agree that ranks should be removed, however he does have the right to apply for them again.
