Do not ban for offsite activities...

If they scammed on another site with proof of it, yeah we do know that they are a scammer: Otherwise how would we ban them to begin with?

There is a reason not to give them a chance, they are scammers for a reason.

 

I'm talking about people who scammed in the past. If you are a member of Sythe and scamming on another website, you should be banned.

 

Unless they admit it, if there is no proof that someone scammed in the past... Sythe wouldn't ban them. There would have to be proof for those actions.
I'll leave it at that, and let other people discuss these issues for now. 4 pages with like 3 people commenting .

 

I've always been a strong supporter of leaving off-site matters off-site and uninvolved with the forum. I don't think anything will change though, it seems as if people are looking for any excuse to get people demoted/banned these days.

 

i got twc for saying that i used to trade scam on runescape on private servers, ive done over $300 in good trades on sythe, and ive personally been scammed for $200 on sythe. dont see why i should have a twc if ive never scammed on sythe, and never plan to.

 

Support, the bans have gotten to crazy, and this is a great Idea one some one should have suggested a long time ago.

I support this. I haven't been banned on another site or plan on being banned but I know some people did get banned a while back, changed and then come here but aren't active because they are afraid of being linked to their old account and be banned.

 

I think lately too many bans have been floating around, people just need to take a "Chill Pill"....

 

Full support. If people phish off site, that is their own business. If people want to scam on other sites, that is their business.

 

I'm going to get this locked and make two threads as it has become clear that there are two major issues at play here.
