This is more than true, I built my own for $575 in January and it runs MW2 with anti-aliasing and everything maxed.

Tell us your specs, and include almost everything, we don't need little things like case, fans, power switch, et cetera.

If you trust me and you want to save some money I can hook you up with a buddy of mine, Kew. He can get cheap parts here in the USA and ship to you - maybe you can work out shipping with him. PM me if you're interested.

Not sure about Kiwiland, but in Australia we have a store called MSY.. Probably the cheapest you can get parts, unless you go to the factory that they are produced in..

Bought my computer there, literally said to the guy behind the counter that I was building a new computer.. He picked the shit out from what I told him I was looking for..

A few hours manual labor at home to get it all set up and drivers etc installed.

Google it, or find an IT store in your area.. If you tell them you're building a new computer and that you have no idea what you need, they can and will help you out.

Does your motherboard support Core Unlocker? Also, do you have a AMD Phenom II X3? If so and your motherboard supports the Core Unlocker, you can turn your AMD Phenom II X3 into a X4, making it a Quad Core, but only works on some CPU's and might be unstable.

It is a Phenom II, and yes, it is unlockable; I'm pretty sure my mobo doesn't support a core unlocker, but it's not something I'm worried about at this point as I don't plan on trying to unlock a potential 4th core until I need the performance boost.
