New type of scam.

Basically, a guy will contact you, say he's worked with a trusted member on Sythe that was recently banned and try and get you to give him access to your account with promise of money. Here's a chat log. I'm sure you can work it out.

Don't let greed get the better of you. Stay away from something that appears to be too good to be true.

I can't imagine this actually being successful. You'd have to be pretty dense- and i mean no offense by that statement.

 

Thanks for the heads up necro, I can't see to many people falling for this though because most of the targets probably be well known/trusted members and these members are generally smarter (sometimes)

I just had a wannabe scammer on MSN, typical American kids. :noworry:

 

People always ask me stupid requests like this, and I simply block them. Thanks for the heads up.
