Just out of curiosity, how can you reset your account and is it like legit to reset it?

 

The e-mail adress of the steam account can be changed. So the pass information will be yours alone after the e-mail has been swapped.

Don't try to make a new steam account or anything though, a mate of mine did that and then copied it over his own steam account somehow and lost his games. I have no idea how he did it though.
