Amount of time spent on Sythe.org

I think it would be pretty cool to have a spot on your user profile that shows how much time you have spent in sythe.org. People could go there and see how much time you have contributed to the site etc. Also maybe have an option where you can hide it if you don't want others to see. Thanks for reading!

 

I totally support. For fear of sounding nerdy, i've only been here like two months but i've been on like 7/H a day+. .

To go along with this suggestion, perhaps an alternate way to record activity besides just post count?

That would be a cool private feature. However, I feel that if it was public, people would just keep Sythe open and a competition would arise.

I disagree, this is an implement/ vB mod that is probably pretty easy to come by/create.

No support. People like me would have the most because I never turn my computer off and I leave all my shit open. Aka I'm on sythe.org 24 hours a day.

The mods that I've seen only count active time spent on the forum, not idle time.

 

There's a period where you automatically log out. Idling on a page, after a long enough time (15 minutes, I believe) the forum counts you as logged out as your session has expired.

While it's indeed farmable, easily, it's also pointless.

I support the idea of adding a private feature to show you how much of your time is spent logged in, though .

 

My post count is already a reminder of how much time I waste online, I don't need another...

I'm pretty sure that that is detectable and a bannable offense.

Still, it should at least have the OPTION to be private.

Pointless suggestion. If somehow the auto log in feature was patched so that people could not leave their browser open for 24 hours gaining time here on sythe it would just be an inconvenience and for what? (x) number of hours specified beside your profile?

I'd rather have the luxury of posting here on sythe, going about my daily business for a few hours and then coming back to check my subscriptions without having to log back on for the sake of maintaining a fair count in hours everyone has.. so trivial.

 

It wouldn't require you to log back in.
