Range/2h addy pure?

Well for one I am making a f2p range/2h pure.

I was planning on getting the usual stats 40 att, 50 str, 62 range, then start pking.

But this guy who seems to know a lot about pking tells me to NOT get 40 attack and get 30 attack instead and use addy 2h to k0.

1. I was wondering if this is worth it or is it better if I just go to 40 attack?
2. Also what should I do with pray/mage?

My current stats:

25 attack
45 strength
40 range
1 def
1 pray
1 mage

 

I dont know your hp but withthose levels and probs around 30hp your level 30. If you get attack 30 for addy you gain 2 levels for combat 32. Now if you get 40 for a WAYY better 2h your only level 35 with those stats.

Get 40, its the best you can go.

 

For your levels, stay 30 attack unless 60+ strength.

 

Well, i have a pure, 40 att,str,rng,32 pray, i just tryed to pk, 2h/range+pray, its pretty good, got 4 kills in an inv.

 

30 attack pures were usually used back in the old wildy where you could risk literally like 10k instead of having to risk a r2h. With +1 worlds though this isn't an advantage anymore

If you do the math 30 attack and str maxes like 1 higher then 40 attack and str at the same cb, but 30 attack is harder to train and you'll hit more 0's with ur a2h so just get 40 tbh (after you get 55+ str.)

 

Stay 30 attack until you get your str. 70+. Only after then would I suggest getting 40 attack. After that just stay 40 def until you either become a member or get 90+ str.
