[Help] Help me pick a new Desktop computer.

    Hi guys,
I'm planning to purchase a new computer, this probably belongs in another forum but I would really like it if the moderators/administrators kept it in this section of the website.

Basically I am in desperate need of a computer that could possibly run a game like Modern Warfare 2 without lagging too bad. I know my budget is not too good for a computer like this, but I can not go any higher than $920NZD.
I need a computer below $920NZD from this website, and I would like you to post links to the computers you find that could possibly fit my criteria.

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Desktops/mcat-0002-4715-.htm

    Thanks guys,
    - Kew.

Is building a PC yourself a possibility? It's really not very hard.

Would it be able to run most new games on the market?

I believe you got New Zealand Dollars, you got around $650USD. You can build a PC for really low cost, that can probably run Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on high settings. Let us know if you're able to build your PC, so we can choose parts for you.

If I were you, I would try to look for something made by AlienWare. Most of their computers are great for FPS games like MW2. I'll see if I can find something on the site.
PS: Does the computer HAVE to be on that website? Is there a reason you cannot purchase it somewhere else? If not I would be able to find one much easier.

Essentially if you are willing to look at a few guides on how to build your own computer you'll be able to buy the parts separately and put them together yourself. This will amount to a much cheaper purchase.

Please don't be so idiotic as to go anywhere NEAR Alienware. These are vastly overpriced computers.

I could put a computer together I guess, or ask my cousin to do it for me.

I would love it if you guys could give me some parts/etc that I could use.

Not to mention that he can also unlock two more cores making it a Quad Core, if the other two cores are locked, but it could be un stable which might be a problem. The motherboard also has to have an unlocking feature for the CPU cores.

That is an epic set-up, but I have no idea how I am going to buy it.
    It will take me 2 weeks to get my $920 out of the bank, and then not to mention, it's cold hard cash. I have no idea how I can afford to wait that long for all the parts to be shipped all the way to New Zealand ;__;

You won't be able to buy it, unfortunately. Newegg doesn't ship internationally (you may have access to local importers like www.priceusa.com.au in Australia, yet these will charge you some hefty shipping fees).

Your cheapest option will be to buy from online NZ stores (and perhaps Aussie stores that ship to NZ).

Do you mean they'll convert it to USD and you can buy it or something? Or are you putting it in your Paypal? Or is it all in New Zealand Dollars?

NewEgg only ships to US, Canada and China.

The bank I'm with is a special type of bank that withdraws money 2 weeks after request. It will be in NZD.
