How can I help little kids in Africa?

you can always donate to the red cross in africa. that has alot of support.

 

If you are that interested in helping some one in desperate need, you don't need to travel to africa. Thousands of people in the united states are under terrible living conditions and are living with life threatening diseases. I think you should start closer to home before you jump on such a big scale.

 

I have been involved with SowHope International and have went on several missions trips to the DRC helping to provide the women and children with basic health, education and economic opportunities. A friend of mine who is also affiliated with the group has family living in the Congo currently that i was able to stay with last summer during the missions trip.


on topic, if you'd like to do more than donate, i'm certain there are plenty of reputable organizations such as SowHope looking for volunteers.

 

Go to your church, they will lead you in the right direction.

The churches where I live planned trips to Africa this summer to help families living in poverty, but it cost about $2,000 a person to go. This may be a downside, but if you really want to help, get a job and look into it.

Thumbs up for thinking about starving children, it's nice to know that people care.

 

Donating is a great way, and if you don't feel like the $4 a month or whatever it is isn't sufficient you could find a specific orginisation (such as the peace corps) and donate a significant ammount.

 

I wouldn't donate $4, more like $200.

 

You're a good person. It seems like donating would be your best option for someone your age. I know you said you don't want to donate, but I'm sure you're generosity will save some lives.

Very, very nice idea. However, helping just one person wouldn't change much. You should start a HUGE scale march in Australia, raise money that way. Build it up on the internet for years before. A few people I know are already starting and preparing, myself included. The march is in London (exact location not yet known), for the young homeless people in England, hopefully taking place sometime in 2015. Hoping for over 20,000 people to march and donate.

I suggest you do something along those lines, better than helping just one.

Wish there was more people like you in the world.

People have been donating for year's and their still starving you never wonder why ?,

That's probably why he doesn't want to donate and he want's to make sure they get helped ( and help em himself personally ).

 

If you think that donating money doesn't feel right, you're a bit like me. I don't like sending money I have a weird feeling the people in charge might take a percentage of it. I usually send a few cans of baked beans and toothpaste and things to my local homeless shelter. I'm sure you could probably buy some food online in africa and send it to some villages if you think that would help.

 

I personally want to go there my self.
