I'm a bit confused. I'm not too familiar with the members part of RuneScape yet, but what is the difference between a Kit, and the actual item itself? I might be interested if I knew >.<

The kit is an item from the new Treasure Trail rewards, and it is attached to your dragon armor piece to add the gold trim. It can be put on and taken off again as many times as you wish, but the armor is not tradeable while the kit is attached.
