Bots crash when I run a full screen game?

Basically if I am running bots and try to load up a full screen game (Warcraft 3, counter-strike etc) the bots screen goes white and stops working.

This always used to happen on my old PC which was running Windows Vista 32bit.

It never used to happen on this PC (custom built Windows 7 64-bit) but now it does. Anyone have this/know how to fix?

 

it's prolly just because you're using too much memory running the full screen games.

so it pushes the bot down on priority and it just shuts down to allow for more free memory.

 

Maybe try going onto the processes and finding the bot and setting the priority to real-time or above what it currently is. That might help but I doubt it will do anything.

 

Funny that, someone on rsbots.net suggested that. I guess I'll give it a try.

I have an intel core i5 processor and 4GB of DDR3 RAM, I doubt memory is too much of a problem but ok.

 

I used to have this problem and running the game as admin/ sometimes compatibility mode would fix it.

i did this also with the game warrock. when it popped up the bot logged out/closed.
it's probably because it's to much memory use which get's the bot stopping.

 

would assume it has nothing to do with memory.
I get that problem when I have tabs open while RS is on.
But when I open new windows, the problem disappears so I highly doubt that it is the memory.

 

Set priority of javaw to high. See if that works.
