F2P Pure Question

I know this is sort of for the pking section but I do this to get some quick help here.

Well for one I am making a f2p range/2h pure.

I was planning on getting the usual stats 40 att, 50 str, 62 range, then start pking.

But this guy who seems to know a lot about pking tells me to NOT get 40 attack and get 30 attack instead and use addy 2h to k0.

1. I was wondering if this is worth it or is it better if I just go to 40 attack?
2. Also what should I do with pray/mage?

My current stats:

25 attack
45 strength
40 range
1 def
1 pray
1 mage

 

you should get 45attack and a gravite 2h ;D
those wreck.. too bad you need like 68 dung to have enough tokens for one


On the real though, you should try with 30 attack and see how it goes. I believe the stats for addy 2h should be comparable to rune scimi. So it might be ok.

And hey.. if you don't like the 30att you can always upgrade to 40

And wierd I never heard of granite 2h but sounds interesting lol!

 

It's called Gravite no relation to granite.

you need 45 dungeoneering and 45 attack to use it, but you'll need ~400k dungeoneering xp to have the 40k tokens to buy it in the first place. (stupid >.>)

It has:
+87 Crush Attack
+90 Strength

comparable to the rune2h which has:
+50 Crush Attack
+70 Strength

 

Gravite 2h is one helluva 2hander, but 66 dung isn't all that worth it unless your very dedicated.

the guy who said stay 30 att is definitely on to something, considering you can trade accuracy for more strength, and since your pure you'll be fighting other pures meaning you don't need AS much accuracy.

just go 30 att 70 str for a start, see how you compete with those that are 40 att 60 str and if you dislike the results get the 40 att, which isn't hard at all with 70 str anyway.

and also, when your lvl 37 [don't know str lvl, just cmb lvl] you'll be hitting constant 11's on others with addy scim, so i consider that a good max and since addy is reliable on 1 defence, i suggest giving it a shot
