Me trying to get lucky with a merch?

Hiya, i've never merchented before but recently watched the rise and decline of the power amulet.

So me not being a serious player, i just bot and sell account's also have an account from 2003 which is my own.

I have bought 109m of strength amulet's and am botting 3 account's atm.

Each time i bank on them i will spend all the profit on strength amulets hopeing one day they will be merchented by a clan.

As im in no need to by anything serious im just testing this out to see how it pan's out, Im in no rush to make gold but am wondering.

Will i get paid of in the long run as they rose 100gp i got like 30-40k amulets 109mill value on 1 account other's are just sponge's, made a tiny profit.

Will i get anything from this in the long run?

any advice is welcome

p.s i hopefully will be makeing 330mill at a minimum in the next month and will spend all on ruby amulet's except for the account's which i sell, so in 30 day's when membership run's out (why i chose f2p item) i'll be sitting around with 400+ mill of strength amulet's?

All depends , price could crash and not ever fully recover , merching has its risks

 

picked ruby ammy cos it's on negative price for 180 30 and 90 day's an f2p item i just used selection and rejection to my own knowledge

The stock on strength amulets has to be massive. If you hoard all of those, it might be hard for you to get rid of them unless a merch clan picks them up. If a clan does pick them up, it'll be nonstop gp. I think that basically, you're just stocking on the off-chance that a merch clan will pick them up, and tbh, I don't think it will work

 

It may work, if they do get merched, which chances are, they will, you'll be laughhing.
even if not, they may rise, or you may be able to just flip for a profit.

better to have cash making money then just sitting around.

 

There are so many str ammy's! Like that guy Video said, you need to pray that a huge clan picks them up. And if they do! Bank!

 

It all rests on the hope that a big clan merches them. I personally AVOID strength ammys, they're a pain to sell in the G.E, even when rising. The stock is so huge, my pure has 30 just from PK loot, most pkers (your source of profit) have stocked up on them. If I'm honest, there's no way you'll double profit. The best solo merch items are scarce items which carry a demand. Str ammys are not scarce, if they rise, they'll quickly fall.

 

Not a good merch to be honest, at all, item has a really high supply and no player really needs more than one or a few which they probably already have, hopefully clan picks them up though and you make money that way otherwise it doesn't look good.

 

If you are essentially banking on the fact that they will get merched, I would choose a better item. Clans typically recycle items, so pick often used ones. Ancient staff, berserker shields, certain seeds, things like that often get merched.

 

i remember those ancients staves haha.. were bouncing between 50 - 85k for a few weeks.. good times [since i'd never done Dt back then] ahh.

OT: str ammys are high in supply, low in demand so you really need a clan to buyout the supply so that there is a slight demand, causing it to start rising.

i personally hope that nonstop gp picks up the str ammys [ you could make a request and explain why ] but yeah. just pray to whichever god you follow >_<

 

I don't think you can compare power ammys with strength ammys. The former is used much more often by players and so has a greater stock. You also loose less money while making them.

 

Power ammys looked like they have just been dumped... So wouldn't merchant with them atm.

 

yeah i see what most of you saying, im in profit by about 30 gp per ammy i have so far lol WOOO even after todays lil loss but when i done botting im a just sit on the ammys as i dont play the accounts and HOPE some merch clan picks them up

 

Im friends with the owners, and can assure you that will more than likely not be the next item : p

You could always pay plznate a little $$$ and have him tell the owners of nonstop gp to merch the str ammy.

Don;t bank on the chance that they get manipulated, that's a worse strategy for getting rich then buying a lottery ticket.

Look for an item that WILL rise and buy in before it does - for example, raw materials before the DEW.

 

As stated above should have went into an item which gets recyclyed even if you hold onto for 2-3 months. It will be worth your while, mate brought out coconuts, before a claned picked them up (ages ago) made a killing.
