Free Bumps?

I always thought free bumps were against the rules (Farcast told me this a while ago).

If this is the case, how come it's being done by moderators, and people don't get in trouble for requesting/getting bumps?


Examples:

It seems that staff can get away with a lot around here. Not really fair tbh.

I think the rules should be the same for moderators and for users alike.

 

They should be but I think that mods should have the same rules as far as "free bumps go"

 

I don't usually delete other people saying Bump on peoples threads.

But if the OP is constantly bumping I will delete their posts.

 

From my understanding though, you're not supposed to bump other peoples threads either.

Sorry to kind of throw you under the bus here. I was just using your post as an example, not trying to get you in trouble.

 

I don't see that anywhere to be honest, if you want me to make it clear in the stickies I will do that.

Gohan you are a great mod, you respond well to criticism and apply the rules fairly.

On topic, I agree that the free bump rule should be officially implemented.

I've actually done that before (on another forum ofc).

 

One free bump so you can bump your thread up the next day, and not wait two days isn't a problem. How does this affect you?
