Nintendo DS xl

Anyone have one? I know it is a bigger version of the DSi, but is it worth it?

I used to own the DS lite, then a year later I got the DSi because I got it on the cheap. The main reason why I got the DS in the first place was because of Pokemon and also Zelda

If you have the DSi xl, is it worth the price? Also, what games would you recommend? I am a huge fan of FF, Mario, Pokemon (wanting Black/White in 2011) and Zelda.

 

It's worth it because of the bigger screen, all else fails. Also I would recommend the pokemon games. Sad thing about the new pokemon games is that... the gold and silver were just remakes of the original games which sucked.

 

I want to try the remake. Personally, I loved the gold and silver versions. A remake wouldn't be too bad, as it looks harder, and playing it on a bigger screen would be soo much better

 

The DSi XL is great for games, pokemon actually looks pretty cool on a bigger screen. But don't be fooled - it doesn't mean the screens have a bigger resolution. Images taken with the camera and pages in the web browser will just be stretched; you won't have "more room" or anything like that.

For its big size, it's still pretty portable too.

 

The main reason why I want the DS xl is for the new pokemon game, and to play Zelda.

I love playing games on the go, like when I travelled to China, DS helped a lot during the 12 hour flight
