    I'm having an artist block and I don't know what to do with this. It's too plain in some areas and too vivid in others.

    Suggestions?

    The pink blotch behind the yellow is ruining your color flow. I don't know of a way to contribute to your style, as it feels cluttered to me, but that is really standing out as an issue.

    I don't really like it honestly, I was trying something new.
    I lost my touch and I'm trying to get back.

    Firstly the general geometric flow of the signature is missing, with the boxes on the left hand side killing it. Circles are also harder to work with, so i advise that whilst you're getting back into shape, you work with more linear components.

    Think about the following;
    • Lighting - In this case, you haven't really chosen any lighting on the stock's face.
    • Depth - All i see in terms of depth is smudging, with no blurring/depth of field, or any other method.
    • Composition - It's quite basic at the moment, with different elements not blending very well - try to use complimenting colours/gradients, and stocks/renders which flow together etc.
    • Focal placement - rule of thirds/central/whichever you choose, but just remember to make effects gravitate and emphasise your focal.
