This doesn't belong here. PM him instead. This is just one of those pointless threads that end up in a flame war.

 

If he can prove that these banned/less than desirable users are hurting his site in anyway, he can indeed charge with trespass. This isn't very hard to do, as most less than desirable users drive away other users causing a loss in ad related areas.

 

It's not a rule but a real life law . I'm sure a judge would go oh! you're a webmaster! well yeah you make your own laws even if theyre not real or applicable.

Or perhaps you don't understand that Sythe is the Owner. This is his website and he's welcome to do what he wants with it. Basically, with your reasoning, Sythe's not even allowed to take down the website if he wants, which is incorrect.

Yes, A Single use caused the site to be down for 24 hours, thats a day, if you didnt know.

It directly affects Sythe.

Oh, and if you want to involve sythe.org with law, then i insist Sythe take the user who Ddosed the website to court, its illegal.

 

Please post something relevant, this is regarding the LAW trespassing not your little funtime rules you make on your virtual kingdom. I am talking about somethign that's real, that applies wherever you go, not just on sythe, please read the posts before posting.

Completely irrelevant, i was talking of a user visitng the site being charged with trespassing, please read the thread guys, you're just making irrelevant posts. DDOSing is against the law, "trespassing" by visiting a site is not, which is what the thread is about. Make a new thread.

Your "law" does not apply anywhere. This website is international. The rules that stand here are set, which may be changed over time but respected.

Sythe looks at his PMs everyday, all 9001 of them, trust me. If it's about something stupid, no, he won't respond. All you've done now is sparked an argument over something that isn't feedback.

 

4chan directly states it's content rules, has moderators, and isn't technically breaking any laws or going against anything.

False, the jurisdiction is based on the location of the server, otherwise DDOS wouldn't be illegal, who would you file the complaint to?
