Help with PayPal.

Well are you actually over 18 and entered real info on your PayPal? I entered my real name and address as such, but I just said I was 18 like I did on Xbox Live.

Ok, I'm going to buy one at 7-11 I guess and just put like a dollar onto the card. If I run into any trouble while verifying my account with it, I'll post back here. Thanks for all the help

 

I think the lowest u can put on is $10 or something.

edit: It doesn't verify your account, it just lets you send/receive money.

 

But thats all I want to verify my PayPal to do, send and receive money.

I went to 7-11, tried to put $10 on the moneypak and they told me it requires a minimum payment of $20 on the account...I'll buy it some other time when parents aren't home and they forgot to put laptop away.

 

weird, mine was a minimum of 10

 

I just read on a Yahoo Answers post that it was $20 to. The $20 is going into my account, so I really don't care about that. My mom is just flipping out about it. But, when shes not home I can just buy it...its not even hard to use while shes in the house.

 

omg I just spent $25 on this card and it didn't do crap to my PayPal! What now?!?

 

Im assuming you live in the u.s, what do you mean it didn't do anything?

2 things could have happened,

*you purchased the wrong type card
*you put information diff from your paypal

 

Paypal doesn't verify with cards anymore, only bank accounts. Also, you can send and receive $$ of you add the card.

 

I already told him that.

 

I bought a Moneypak. I'm going to simply just buy a Green Dot card (the credit card type ones) and then use that to verify my address so that I can withdraw money via check.

When it says $500 fee, is that monthly or forever?

If PayPal is going to be stupid like this, I'm probably going to stick to Moneybookers and AlertPay. But, mail would be my preferred option.
