Um, if it's in your dad's name he might get into some shit for having CP on his phone? Does Envirofone specifically tell you to delete everything off the memory card too?

 

Why did you send it if you knew you had bad stuff on it?

He can def. get in trouble if theirs child pornography on it..

 

Not really they just ask you for phone + Battery I just saw on terms and Conditions it says
"Memory cards
Please ensure you remove your memory card before sending us your mobile phone. Unfortunately once we have received memory cards we are unable to return them."

But there is still risk to what they would do with them.

Btw I'm 14 years old I don't refer to it as child porn....

 

Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll just throw it out. I don't see why they would need to look through it.

 

I highly doubt they go through the phones that they get. They more that likely get tons of them a day, and don't have the time to do so. Anyways it is still illegal, and you shouldn't have things like that on your phone in the first place.

 

I think you're talking bullshit. How could you send away something with such evidence of child porn etc on it.

If they do investigate what is on this memory card, they will notify the local authorities. Your dad will be arrested pending further investigation. Then the media will get involved and your dad will have his name slandered. wether or not it's proved that you were the one with the CP on the phone, it won't matter everyone will beleive that he has watched the videos, and the parents of these young girls will find out that he's watched them. Thus resulting in your dad perhaps being "sorted out" in any way shape or form they decide to get there revenge on him. I'd personally slit the cunts throat if he had pictures/videos of my nephew on his phone that i'd assume he whacks off to.

All i can say is weldone on ruining your dads life if all comes out.

Well yeah but I can't get done for child pornography just girls having fun that's all it is and people sent it to ME I didn't go Downloading for any of this stuff, I no longer have stuff like that on my current phone maybe a porn vid.

 

Why on earth would they look through every memory card they get? I'm sure quite a few people forget to take them out.

The chances of them looking at the content on his card is quite small..

 

I'm assuming that not every memory card is processed and checked. But i'm also assuming they don't just throw them in the bin. It will be sent somewhere to be wiped and re sold.

The chances are low, yes. But there is still a chance. And if that chance were to happen, then chance is completely out the window. He will be fucked.

 

The phone was at his house, he lives in London and I had the phone prepared the phone is like a year old and he told me he posted it this morning. Then I remembered about the contents of the memory card after reading a post on this forum about 18< nudity.

Well I doubt the media would be involved over child porn allegations it's not on the same level as rapists.. and its not even my fault that stuff was on there people sent it to me!

 

I'd suggest you don't worry about it, and if your Dad is a lawyer if anything comes up I'm sure he'll be able to handle it.

 

You would be very suprised at what the media get involved in. He will at minimum be added to the sex offenders list, as a pedophile. If the media do get involved you can guaruntee just about everyone you know will be talking about it.

 

Why would the media have any reason to get involved? Do you know how many pedophiles and sex offenders there are in the world?

And envirofone is the biggest company of its kind so you could only imagine how many phones their dealing with daily.

The phone goes to a third world country..... so I shouldn't have anything to worry about.

The media get involved if a celebrity farts in public, nevermind a pedophile. The local paper would almost definately have it in the paper, thus making it a talking point. Then it would spread like aids in prison. I'm actually not quite sure on the exact ammount of sexual predators there are in the world, but it's not every day one gets caught in your area ^
