Why cant I pk to save my life.

All morning ive been pking in bounty world+1.
Ive died 4 times now and I dont get whats wrong.

Here are my zerkers stats:

I pvp'd alot LONG before the hp update and ever since I cant seem to gain any ground.
I pk with a scim/dds, full rune + zerk helm and defender with rune gloves normal stuff. Dont have enough for an AGS atm.

Any tips welcome because im about ready to give up and quit because I dont understand what im doing wrong.

 

94 magic for vengence. It is very useful, and essential for KO.

95 prayer for turmoil, but that is a tad high, so 70 for piety.

99 strength is a must. 99 range is optional, and use a whip.

 

I wont be getting over 43 prayer.

And today all ive been coming across are other zerkers.
I guess it is because of the veng and whips/Godswords that are raping me.

I dont think strength is really the issue in this situation as they are my combat level but yeah im working towards 99.

I havnt played in about 2 years so I guess I have alot of catching up to do in terms of items and abilities ( vengeance ect)

 

Have you thought about your internet? I don't bother PKing since i have over 150 ping. No point PKing since there is a huge difference when facing Pkers with lower ping.

 

Both pvp servers for me are around 40-70 so i dont think thats the problem.

More than likely im rusty and they have the upper hand because of veng/whip/ags.

Stuff I will be catching up to get because i only play RS to pvp.

 

Practice in F2P pking first?

 

If you wanna be a good zerker you need high str + attack, veng and turmoil. An AGS is a good idea.

 

I agree with everything but turmoil. My attack is set, just gotta get veng and 95+ str and a AGS prolly get all that this month

 

Venge is a must. But turmoil is optional. Not everyone has 180mil to spend on prayer. Piety wouldn't work since you need 70 defence for it. 99 strength isn't a must. His strength is high enough. No point getting 99 range since he doesn't have cannon.

Ummm, I recommened safing. Not taking many risks and find every excuse TOO safe. Without safing you'll get KOed. Simple.

He got the attack. Turmoil isn't needed. Bgs or D scimmy with claws will do fine.

For me id say if your failing safe a bit more...i find to always die when people are like STOP SAFING and then they spec the shit outta me...basically dont type when ur ifghting except to say GG at the end i cant think of a good sports analogy but if ur gonna type anythingn tell THEM to not safe while ur safing and get in their minds lol

 

Zerks cant get piety becasue you need 65def for quest. L2RS

 

Same here, I used to be amazing with whip full rune and zerker helm and I just cannot get used to the new HP thing...

 

I'm really bad at pking too, but I agree with what almost everyone here has said. Vengeance is one of the biggest factors for Zerkers, and it REALLY makes a huge difference. If you can't KO with a powerful weapon or a good special, Vengeance can help you. Turmoil isn't necessary, but it's the best melee prayer in the game, hands down, and is worth the price to get the prayer level, if you can afford it. Godswords aren't necessary either, but an AGS would be a huge help for you. (Imo, it's worthless to level attack to the level of a weapon you can't afford, as a pure, so long as you plan to pk.)

 

No venge, low HP.

Not counting, PKing isn't PKing anymore. It's nothing like it used to be, and nothing like BH. Not counting most pures just run up, rush, run off. You may need to work on switching to dds etc. Or, you may have bad luck with your specs.

Maybe you just don't have the killer instinct.

remember since the hp update a lot of new styles have been introduced to pvping. So you got to adapt. Old school pking won't get you many kills nowadays. Unless your really know what you doing.

 

make sure you have barrow gloves, and get vengeance as mentioned above.

 

PKing nowdays is just about luck and your armory.
