Gold ore was a bad investment?

Yeah to those who bought mass gold ore, they just announced that it wouldnt work with the bonus xp thing.Im thinking of a mass gold ore dump possibly?

e: im taking about those who were thinking of the goldsmithing gloves.

 

that makes no sense why they would exclude it, where did you hear this from?

 

I read the articles and I'm pretty sure it didn't say anything about excluding that.

What activities will NOT earn me bonus XP?

Items/locations that already give bonus XP (e.g. ancient effigies, genie lamps, tomes of experience, goldsmithing gloves, Ectofuntus, POH altars, etc)

ps: my bad i was talking about goldsmithing gloves,forgot to mention.

 

Anything that gives a bonus in experience doesn't work in the double exp weekend.

 

Its stupid, I don't see why they excluded this and prayer + summoning..

 

Cause summoning you can get over 1m+ experience an hour if they did not restrict it.

 

Gold ore didn't work with the last bonus exp weekend, why would it work this time?

 

Because Jagex cares about the players a little bit so they're going to Allow it Lol, NOT It'd be really nice if they allowed it, but not likely ever going to change.

Even so, it will be great for superheaters/ gold bar smelters.

 

You'll still get the extra EXP, the bonus EXP from the gloves just won't be affected.

i'd rather not see people get 99 summoning in 13 hours

 

I bougth 210k gold ore like 2weeks ago befoere they annonce the 2x exp week end at 250ea then when i saw the 2x exp week end i was happy to see gold ore were raising I remember that last 2x exp weekend gaunglet were disable so you gain less exp with 2x exp.

So i sold 195k gold ore at 264gp wich make my 77smithing free+3M profit so yeah they will crash for sure.
