    Coding The Game of Life in C.

    The Game of Life is a grid-based community simulation program which involves either "living" or "dead" cells, which occupy every spot in a square grid. The cells progress through generations in which they are either "living" or "dead". There are only 3 rules to what the cell's state would be in the next generation.

    Each cell has 8 neighbouring cells:

    x x x
    x o x
    x x x (x = neighbors, o = cell)

    If there are more than 3 living cells around a cell, the cell dies of overpopulation.
    If there are less than 3 living cells around a cell, the cell dies of loneliness.
    If there are exactly 3 living cells around a cell, it becomes/stays alive.

    The variables. The 2 double arrays hold information on whether the cell is alive or dead. 'gridValPrev' will receive all information from 'gridVal' at the end of calculations for every generation. 'gridValPrev' is used to determine gridVal's new occupancies/deaths. I will cover the rest of the variables later.

    Not user friendly, but the user will enter how many microseconds each generation lasts, before the grid is updated.

    this cycle will change every single number in the gridValPrev array to a random number between 0 and 1.

    This cycle finds out the sum of "1"s in all cells surrounding the one being targeted.

    This simple cycle copies the contents of gridVal to gridValPrev.

    This command will input "clear" into the terminal/console. If you use windows you might want to include <windows.h> and find the command for clearing the screen in windows.

    Sleeps for a time in milliseconds, specified by the variable speed - which was set from user input.
