Technically DNS list..but.....

Ok so I understand this is on the DNS list but I think this could help us. Sometimes I notice that the Report a Scammer section gets filled up quickly and becomes a burden for most mods. So my thought is why not make like 1-2 RaS mods (max) and just give them the same powers as a sectional for their section. Then they can PM the shit to a global to perm ban after they've gone through it. It would save a lot of time for globals etc.


If this still shouldn't be here go ahead and close/archive it.

i agree with chris if someone is reported and they see that there is sufficient proof that they will indead be banned, then they are most likly going to go on a scamming spree. Sometimes it takes days for a scam report to be checked off which isnt ideal as you would think helping people avoid being scammed would be atleast one mods main priority.

Also the other mods could do As they currently do, but someone who's main goal as a mod on sythe is to deal with the report scammers section would be a huge improvement. Support

 

No Support.. What you're talking about is more moderators which we have plenty of already. I have my own feelings on why we're backed up, however I'll keep that to myself.

 

I support this. I feel that the section moves too slowly, and this should be implemented unless the globals pick up their activity their.

 

Yes we do have a good amount of mods but it seems like none of them except you and skele (and tyro over the past day or so) do any scammer reports.

We can place Skele_Master and someone with heavy experience in the market for this job. I vote plznate.

 

I agree with this idea. That section gets filled up so quickly that 1 or 2 mods whose only funcion is to take of scammer reports is, imho, necessary.

 

We've already got plenty of mods, the only problem is that several people are away at the moment (skele) so some is being left.

It'll be back to normal soon enough.

 

Sythe does already have a lot of mods, however things like this mass mods going away around the same time frame probably needs temporary "mods" to scour through all the BS scam reports and non BS reports. The same people could get this ability when it's deemed necessary by Admins.

 

I kinda agree, but kinda don't.
On one hand, the staff IS having problems right nao, which is possible why.
But on the other, staff and spam reports are always backed up.
Why not have a "Report Mod" Who does Spammer AND scammer?
