Question about double xp weekend

Im confused i just got back to RS and i dont think i have ever been apart of one of these...

When does/did it start?

Im thinking im going to do mining/smithing pretty much the entire time...im f2p on this account btw.

Is everything double XP for whole weekend of what.


Can someone give me the jist..thanks

I believe it is from the 3rd to the 6th of September but can someone verify that . It starts of at 2.7X xp however every forty five minutes after it drops by 0.1X until after 10 hours it stops at 1.1X xp and stays at that for the rest of the weekend.

Edit: This is what I think but I may be wrong :S

 

Oh also i forgot to add... I just added in the stats for the account above i think...if it didnt work link is below...what would your recommendations be for this f2p character with about 3-5M bank. its a future main hopefully lol

Sorry mate, double exp week is only for members. Yes it is from the 3rd-6th September. What Season said is correct.
