    The perfect scam.

You did not get the point. It'd be the harder way if he recovers it and keeps it for him self. But anyway, UNLIKELY situation as I've never seen this happen?

Lol, it's called trust, and a pain in the ass process. I've been on accounts with well over 20Bil, and I've been on accounts while MMing with 5Bil+.
It takes a certain person to try and scam someone while MMing, and that isn't OMM's. At least not any of the current OMM's.

To safeguard this; I always record account trades where I have to change the password. This guarantees that the password is correct if someone decides to be "funny" and claim it isn't. Of course, I delete the video after the trades complete; I just do it as a precaution. I suggest all MM's do this..

The OMM should do recover. than he's always able to recover it and give it back the it's owner.

To be honest, the proofs in the name; OFFICIAL middleman. OMM's wouldn't do that, you may get one who would but there would be demotion straight away.

    The perfect scam.

Lol, the blame would be entirely on the Middle Man, who else could it be?

When you're the Middle Man of a trade. The seller of the account gives the Middle Man the password, then the Middle Man changes it again to ensure the Seller cannot change the password. Then the buyer sends the money or whatever and gives the account, usually straight away, to the Buyer (Once the buyer has verified he has the money in his PayPal).

If the buyer claimed the password didn't work with sufficient proof, then nobody else but the Middle Man could be to blame.
The seller had no control over the account to change the password, and the Middle Man gives the password straight away, so it's nearly impossible for the Seller to recover the account straight away.

    Main point:
The Middle Man would be the only one to blame, therefore, would be banned for Scamming. Which would be a shame, really, as all the effort he has to go through to get the OMM status, just to scam an account which in most cases, will get recovered (eventually).

    Good day.

    The perfect scam.

The entirety of your argument is this:
What if one of the most trusted members of this site who is extremely experienced and trustworthy in black market trades decides to SCAM?

The answer: Very improbable (therefore stupid to even discuss) for anything worth less than at least a few hundred dollars.
