Hacking GameBoy Colour Games?

My cousin recently gave me his Pokemon Crystal with two LEGIT Mew on the save file, along with some shinies and a lot of Pokemon to go with.
I was wondering if it was possible to hack old games like this, for ex. if I sold the game, would it go for a very high price because of the legit Mew? (because the game is un-hackable, there is no other way to obtain them?)

Can you hack/use GameShark codes/Action Replay codes on a GameBoy Colour Game?
Also, what would you price this game and save file?

 

I dont know much about gameboy stuff
But I do know when i was young I had action replay and got mew off it on pokemon gold

 

I wouldn't really say it's worth much, because even on the new games legit event pokemon that aren't hacked aren't worth anything. Pokemon Crystal is worth about $1.50 itself, and there are many glitches like in Yellow with Fly and that guy by Saffron I think, it was a glitch that would get you Mew. I have about 5 legit Mew on my SoulSilver.

Try stick it on ebay with a reserve your happy with.

 

It's not like he did some master hack..you can buy action replay for like $10 and make as many as you want.
