How easy is it to start fake rumors

I just saw the thread about Soul wars rumor and it had been done so many times befoere for trying to steal others runescape account.

 

The soul wars bans are actually real, despite that forum post being made up. If a rumor is controversial yet believable, it will go far

 

It just requires simple editing skills.

 

Almost 0 since u just need to overwrite the html source then save it as .html

 

jagex made the fake forum post in hopes of us figuring it out it was fake to catch us when we were like "YO MOTHERFUCKERS 24/7 YO YO YO MAXED PUREZZZ, TURMOILLLLLL 0MFG" and then we fell for it and those nubs got banned

 

Firebug and firefox. Easiest tool ever to make yourself look amazing on a site with a screenshot. Also this lol.

 

Pretty easy, it was quite simple making people believe there was invisible mods. hahahaha

 

I bet they did tl;dr

 

Lol this was their intention from the beginning. From the temp bans to the fake forum thread. Jagex is smarter than we think.

 

Easy, save as. html edit.

 

Actually, it has been known that Jmods actually monitor rs games invisibly so that rumor is quite true
