Is this NOT a scam?

A scam is something involving a person spending money to get something, but the something isn't there or wasn't what they paid for.

Instance:

Reasoning: The victim will be entering the referral because they think that they will get a discount, when it doesn't change the price, but instead adds 10% towards the others person's bank account.
By definition, the quote above is a scam.

All of them should be forced to be changed or deleted.

Staff, please go by the suggestion itself and not the fact that other staff are doing this when you post, thanks.

 

They never promised a discount, they said "If your buying something from gold4rs, use "name here" as a referral. I honestly don't see what the harm is.

 

If they promise something, and do not deliver, then yes, it is a scam. However, word play has been discussed before, and is not considered a scam.

 

It's false advertising/deceiving and should be removed. Report or PM me any users who have that in their signature.

Notice mine says that I'll personally give money if they use me as their referrer, and if I remember correctly, you had the same thing in your signature.

I've never had that in my signature. I tried to start a referral where the benefits go directly to Sythe, but it was closed because of not having the proper authentication.
The 10% never went to me, and it was clearly stated that it went to sythe.

 

So this is accepted?

I dont see why it really matters, either way they are buying it...

 

If they PM me I will give them a 5% discount, apart from the fact no one actually does use you at all lol. Had this in my sig for months and no one has used

 

I figured that nobody actually did it. Who buys from gold4rs anyways?
But it's still illegal, and needs to be treated as such.
