I usually prefer to sit back and enjoy the drama, but I think it's time we allow only TinyChat frequenters/Sythe veterans and the staff to voice their opinion on these current situations. The reason the staff locks threads like this is because all we do is go off-topic (yes, even mine is), so if you may... shall we start from the beginning?

Agree with you there. It does not matter who goes in there. We're just having a good time. Are you totally innocent yourself? I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't.

I will say this again. TinyChat does not get you hacked. It does not matter who the operators are. Gearheart is filled with moderators and stupid rules, and to be honest I feel hesitant to talk because of what they might think of me.

More like arguing about these issues. All the threads invited them to share their ideas, but instead people started their mindless bickering.

About the whole Syed situation, if he had never been wrongfully banned in the first place, this probably would have never happened. I do agree that it is his fault for constantly trolling, even after being offered multiple chances.

Its ironic seeing you type "grow up" as I recall seeing you do many immature things on tinychat. I doubt I need to discuss them in this thread. You have done many, many things over tinychat which sythe does not condone. You have harassed members on tinychat, etc. etc. etc.

Tyro also has done shady things on tinychat. For you to be saying "SCAMMERS!" are on tinychat and that they will do something bad, is laughable. Again I'm not going to mention any behavior as that would get me banned/not help this situation; but tinychat should be left to ourselves. The original reason for tinychat was that we needed a private spam forum. We would like to keep it that way.

I understand Finn that yuo've dealt with a lot of adversity on this site. However we are not your enemies. We are the most famous, popular, and respected members on this site (im well known but not that popular). We don't scam (its true) we just want our tinychat. Please don't diss us, lock our threads, and as SuF said "bash us".

Don't lump the legit members in with the trolls.

I think finn should just be demoted and leave and the majority of people at sythe would be alot happier. Hes arrogant and annoying and I dont think anyone likes him. They just dont want to get bashed by him or banned.

Use whatever tinychat makes you happy, who cares if one is being endorsed and the other isn't, go into whichever one has your friends and the people you want to talk to in it. No one is forcing you to go to any tinychat, and it really shouldn't matter.

I talked to Syed about this matter, and have decided that Frank and I now own the sytheofficial one.

The staff may not be what people are saying they are, but you're making it look that way when you close every thread by members trying to discuss it. If you aren't corrupt, stop being dictators and be a staff.

100% agreed. You arent going to be able to stop members here from being banned, its just not possible. I think how your going about this tinychat deal is ridiculous, if its not official, then dont try to act like it is. I can see where the problem is yes, but banning members who talk about it is just plain ignorant. That only cause's more of a problem.

 

You're still allowed to go to whatever Tinychat you want.

Oh btw, another reason people shouldn't go into Tinychat: The shit Skype crew will come in and start yelling at you for no apparent reason when you're trying to converse with someone other than them. They think they're big, tough, and bad while trying to flame someone over the Internet. Just throwing that out there. I'm probably expecting to see some replies and some flaming to start, so mods, go ahead and watch for that please.

 

It's true, the TC is what it is.
but with that said, users should be able to discuss or advertise it just like any other website on the internet.

 

Oh I forget the fact that if I counter-argue, I get banned from Tinychat. Don't allow Sytheofficial to be publicly advertised her on Sythe.org. The ops are currently all have grudges against me for no apparent reason, and the chatroom itself, is full of members who're just following the bandwagon of being stupid.

 

You were fine with TC til you got ass raped by the ops now your all for the staff but when you were raped on sythe you loved TC.

 

We've discussed the issue thoroughly within the Staff Lounge. We have attempted to compromise with Darkgroove, but he had no intention of removing individuals from the Tinychat who were making it into a place where hacking was frequently being discussed and championed. It's fine that he won't compromise -- it's his room, but this is our site.

We've reviewed all of the posts made on this thread and have established that we are in agreement with Deacon. Things like Tinychat cause more trouble than they are worth, and, in accordance with global advertising rules, we've decided that personal ventures such as Tinychat should, too, not be advertised.(This covers ALL Tinychat channels.) After all, just as anything can be discussed on another forum (hacking, etc.) anything can be discussed on Tinychat as has been recently demonstrated.

We are trying to deal with this as civilly as possible as we acknowledge this has been a contentious and hotly debated topic. If anyone has further questions on the issue, please feel free to address them to any staff member by PM, or, if greater embellishment is required, feel free to post a Feedback thread. However, I think we've all seen enough drama for one day, so let's get along and respect each other's contrary opinions.

You can, as usual, advertise personal ventures such as Tinychat in your signatures. All is not lost!
